How to play
- Fill the whole grid with Nalous (the beagle) and Ziggys (the Siamese). Tap a cell once for Nalou, twice for Ziggy, three times to empty it.
- Never three Nalous or three Ziggys in a row, neither across nor down.
- Every row and every column contains as many Nalous as Ziggys.
- Two rows cannot be identical, nor can two columns.
- Two cells separated by the = sign contain the same animal; two cells separated by × contain different animals.
- Every grid has a single solution, found by deduction, without ever guessing. Easy and Medium are solved with the basic rules. Hard also asks you to look for every way to complete a row. Expert adds short guesses: imagine an animal in a cell and see a rule break within 3 moves. Cells with a darker background are given at the start.
- “Check” circles in red the animals in the wrong place, without correcting anything for you. “Hint” first marks the cell to find with a dot and tells you which rule to use; tap it a second time to see the answer and the reasoning.
- Keyboard: arrows to move, B for Nalou, S for Ziggy, Backspace to clear.
